Network Engineer

Exigo is looking for a Full-time Network Engineer.

The Network Engineer will ensure that the Infrastructure, Network, and Cloud project delivery team is supported in delivering networking projects on time, within budget, and to the committed quality and reporting levels.

This position will require an experienced Network/Infrastructure Engineer to deliver projects from scoping/inception through kick-off, delivery, go-live, and post-go-live support.

Furthermore, the Project Network Engineer ensures networking and security best practices and procedures are considered and implemented during the project lifecycle.

The Project Network Engineer is expected to be involved in multiple concurrent projects of various sizes simultaneously – up to 15 projects simultaneously.

The Project Network Engineer is responsible and accountable for the following:

• On-time, in-scope, and on-budget network project delivery – ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment to industry best practice standards.
• Multi-tasking and delivery of simultaneous projects from scoping through to completion and handover to BAU support
• Ensuring technical escalations from other engineers or team members are handled and seen through to completion.
• Investigation and evaluation of new products, features, and solutions for upcoming networking projects
• Continuous upskilling and knowledge improvement – certifications and mentoring/training juniors
• Documentation of new projects including HLD, LLD, Network Diagrams, Deployment guides, and standard operating procedures

Qualification:

• CCNA/CCNP/PCNSA/PCNSE/Sophos XG Engineer/Architect>
• ITIL Foundations
• Microsoft Azure/M365 Fundamentals

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an MSP
• Minimum 4 years’ experience delivering network projects.
